Session Costs:
Multiple factors determine the costs for a particular class - mainly, ice time, instructor/skater ratios, and required coaching.
Pre-CanSkate
Our Pre-CanSkate program is geared towards skaters aged 3 - 4. In this program, skaters learn basic fundamentals of skating.
Session cost (1 night a week): $220
Tuesdays 5:10-5:40pm or Thursdays 5:10-5:40pm
Pre-CanPower
The Pre-CanPower program is for skaters aged 4- 6 who are just starting in hockey, but should have the basic skating skills of:
- Fall down and get up on own
- Able to stand on skates in a balanced and stable position for a prolonged period of time
- Able to walk forward
- Able to move backward
- Able to make snow
Session cost (1 night a week): $220
Tuesdays 5:10-5:40pm
Note: Full hockey equipment and a stick are required.
CanSkate
CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for beginners aged 5+. The CanSkate program focuses on fun, participation, and basic skill development.
Session cost (1 night a week): $300.00 or $575 for the season (2 sessions).
Tuesdays 5:40-6:30pm or Thursdays 5:40-6:30pm
Shooting Stars
Our Shooting Stars program is for skaters who have completed CanSkate Stage 4 or have been recommended for the program by a coach.
Season cost: $450 (one night) or $900 for both nights
Tuesdays 4:00-5:10pm
Thursdays 4:00-5:10pm
Sunday Ticket Ice: 10 tickets for $150
Sundays 7:00-7:50pm
StarSkate
Starskate offers opportunities for shooting stars to continue to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating.
Season cost: $400 (base fee) + $250 per day of ice+ Skate Canada fee
Tuesdays 6:40-7:50pm; Thursdays 6:40-7:50pm
Sunday Ticket Ice: 10 tickets for $150
Sundays 7:00-7:50pm
Note: Fees do not include lesson fees (private coaching), test day fees, or competition fees.
Adult Synchronized Skating
Luminice is an A2 level team (18+). The team skates Sunday evenings from approximately September - March. They travel to approximately 2 competitions and end the season performing in the Elora & District Skating Club year-end performance.
Tryouts - Thursday, August 21 at 9pm at the CW Sportsplex in Fergus (Pad B)
